Holiday Yard Decorations in Knoxville, TN

Wreaths, bows, wrapped columns and lit frames, set up alongside your roofline lights.

Beyond the roofline

What holiday yard decorations do you set up?

Holiday decorations are the pieces that make a lit house feel finished. In photos from our Knoxville-area jobs you can see the range: wreaths and bows on the home, garland wrapped around columns, and lit frames such as reindeer standing in the yard.

We set these up alongside your roofline lights, so the roof, the entry and the lawn read as one design. Tell us what you picture and we will plan placement around your windows, doors and landscaping. Start with one focal piece at the entry or plan the whole yard, and we will build the layout around what your house and lot can carry.

Every project is exterior only, and you do not need to be home while we work. Decorations come down with the rest of your display, typically finished by the end of January.

What you can add

Four ways to finish the display

Each of these comes from our own work around Knoxville. Your house decides which ones fit, and we can mix them.

Dark board-and-batten home with a warm white roofline and a wreath on the facade

Wreaths

A wreath on the front of the house is the easiest way to carry the season past the roofline. In this project it sits on a dark board-and-batten home with a warm white roofline, and the wreath ties the entry into the rest of the display.

Bows

A large red bow gives the garage or porch a finished point of color. Here it sits over the garage on a home with a multicolor roofline, so the bow echoes the red bulbs instead of competing with them.

Garland-wrapped columns

Columns are a natural place for garland. This Greek-revival home is shown by day with its lights installed, and at night the wrapped columns frame the entry beneath the roofline lights.

Hand-wrapped detail work

Wrapping a column takes patience and a steady hand. Our crew does this work on site, on ladders, so the finished look follows the lines of your house rather than a pre-made kit.

“We decided to put Christmas lights on our house this year, and it completely transformed our home! ... Neighbors have stopped by to compliment the display, the kids absolutely love it, and it makes coming home feel so magical.”

Questions

Yard decoration questions, answered

What yard decorations can you add?

From our own jobs, you can see wreaths and bows on the home, garland-wrapped columns and lit frames in the yard, such as reindeer. Decorations go in alongside your roofline lights, and the right pieces depend on your house and your yard. Describe what you picture when you request a quote and we will tell you what we can set up for your property.

Can you work with decorations I already own?

Ask us. Every home and every decoration is different, so tell us what you have when you request a quote, whether that is a wreath, a figure or a frame. We will let you know whether it can be part of the plan. We would rather answer that before install day than leave you guessing about how it fits the rest of the design.

When do decorations go up?

Install dates are set after your order and deposit, and they usually fall in October or November. You can request a day and we will use it if it is open. The season gets busy, so booking early gives you the most choice. Installation is exterior only, done in one day, and you do not need to be home.

When do decorations come down?

Takedowns are scheduled by zones, and each home takes one day. All homes are typically finished by the end of January. You do not need to be home for takedown either. After that, your lights go into our secure storage, ready for the following year, so you are not hunting for boxes in the garage.

What affects the price of yard decorations?

We do not post a flat price because no two yards are alike. The cost depends on how many pieces you want, their size, how much of the house and yard they cover and how they pair with your roofline lights. Request a quote and we will go through it with you. A 50% deposit on a major credit or debit card books your date, and the balance is due on installation day.

Ready to decorate the yard?

Tell us about your home and what you picture. We serve Knoxville and surrounding East Tennessee towns, and the season books up, so reach out early.
